Summer’s Calling: Celebrate the Season at Anneewakee Trails

Mark your calendars, neighbors — summer officially arrives at Anneewakee Trails on Saturday, May 23, 2026, when our pool reopens for another season of sun-soaked afternoons and poolside memories. From that day forward, the pool will be open daily from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with the entire amenity area closing at 8:00 PM sharp.

Whether you’re starting your morning with a few quiet laps before work, gathering the family for a Saturday splash, or unwinding with neighbors after a long day, summer at the Trails has something for everyone. The lazy river will be flowing, the splash park will be ready for little feet, and the courts and walking paths are calling your name.

A Friendly Reminder About the Rules

Our amenities are something special — and keeping them that way takes all of us. Please take a moment to review the posted Amenity Rules before your first visit of the season. They’re in place to keep every resident, guest, and child safe, and to make sure the pool deck, courts, and clubhouse stay welcoming for everyone. A few quick reminders: members must be in good standing to access the amenities, guests should always be accompanied by a resident, and the entire amenity area closes promptly at 8:00 PM each evening.

So grab your towel, your sunscreen, and a friend or two — summer is almost here, and your community is ready to celebrate it with you.

See you at the pool!

Health and Wellness: Thrive and Alive on the Trails

In April, Anneewakee Trails came alive with the buzz of neighbors, the aroma of farm-fresh produce, and a shared commitment to living well. Hosted by our Community Affairs Committee, our Health and Wellness Event brought together health professionals from across Douglas and Cobb counties under one simple banner: Thrive on the Trails.

The Farmers Table

At the heart of the event was Austin Farms and Eat Right Atlanta, our local partners are committed to sustainably sourced fresh eggs, fruits, and vegetables — a delicious reminder that eating healthy starts with knowing where your food comes from.

Screenings & Smart Advice

Vendors and medical professionals offered screenings and guidance on everything from blood pressure to preventive care. Catching a health concern early is one of the most powerful tools we have, and our team made it easy and judgment-free for every neighbor who stopped by.
